One year ago

Robert D. Ballard, renowned undersea explorer and discoverer of the Titanic, spoke at the Braden Auditorium. Ballard has been a part of over 120 expeditions, is a member of the NOAA Science Advisory Board and serves on the President's Commission on Ocean Policy.



Five years ago

Normal Mayor Ken Karrakers resigns, and Councilman Chris Koos is appointed to take the position.



Ten years ago

A university constitution was appointed by the ISU Board of Trustees containing information approved by the Academic Senate, and language recommended by the BOT legal counsel.



Twenty years ago

ISU administration, along with the architects and contractors who are working on the elevator upgrade project at Watterson Towers, are asking students to be patient while the $2.35 million project is in the works.
