Monday, Nov. 5
At 8 a.m. a male staff member reported damage to his ISU work truck while it was parked outside Horton Field House. There were two medium sized dents in the passenger side door of the truck. Inside one of the dents was a mark that appeared to be the print of the heal of a gym shoe. The worker reported that he had not used the van since November 3 at 1 p.m. There are no suspects.
At 9:43 p.m. the Resident Assistant in Barton Hall reported criminal damage to a fire alarm station on the third floor. The glass cover of the fire alarm pull station was shattered, but nothing else appeared damaged. The Resident Assistant reported that the damage occurred around 2 p.m. This is the same fire alarm station that was reported damaged on October 31. There are no suspects.
Tuesday, Nov. 6
At 2:57 p.m. a female University High School student reported damage to her parent's car while it was parked in lot G-83. The student parked the car in the lot at 8 a.m. and when she returned, she noticed a large scratch on the driver's side door. The damage was estimated to be $100. There are no suspects.
At 4:54 p.m. ISU police received a report of criminal misconduct. A female student told police that she had been followed by an unknown male suspect on three different occasions, the most recent of which occurred a half hour before the report was filed. The student gave the police a description of the suspect and was advised to contact the police immediately if she saw him again.
At 8:45 p.m. a female student reported her iPod missing from the University Program Board office in the Bone Student Center. The original report stated that three iPods were missing, but officers were informed that two were hidden by a staff member to teach the students a lesson. The student provided police with the serial number for her iPod. There are no suspects.
At 8:48 p.m. the Resident Assistant in Dunn Hall reported damage to the loudspeaker in the third floor hallway. The cover had been knocked off of the speaker and masking tape was put over it in an attempt to hide the damage. Residents on the floor reported that the speaker had been damaged for over a week. There are no suspects.
Wednesday, Nov. 7
At 2:18 a.m. ISU police arrested a female student and charged her with speeding, driving under the influence and possession of alcohol by a minor. The student was pulled over when police observed the student hit the curb and then perform an illegal U-turn. The student was taken into custody after she failed three sobriety tests and registered a .196 on a breath test.
