At 8:04 a.m. an ISU heating plant worker reported damage to his truck while it was parked in lot F-74. He had parked his ISU truck in the N. University Street parking deck at 3 p.m. on October 28, and when he returned the following morning, the windshield was smashed and there was a large gouge in the hood. There was a large concrete block lying next to the truck that the worker had not seen when he parked there the day before. There are no suspects.

At 11:48 a.m. a male student reported $25-$30 missing from his wallet. ISU police had informed the student that the wallet had been turned over to the station, after it was left on the night operations desk at Watterson Towers the night before. When the boy picked it up he reported that the money was missing and all of his cards were arranged differently than he had left them, though none were missing. There are no suspects.

At 2:03 p.m. ISU police received a report of criminal defacement in Atkin Hall. Inside of one of the elevators in Atkin, there was writing scrawled onto the walls. The writing was vulgar, but not of a gang-related nature. A Building Service Worker reported that the walls had been painted on October 25, so the writing had to have been done since then. There are no suspects.

At 4:37 p.m. a female student reported that she was being harassed over the telephone. The student told police that a male classmate who had been using her to get a good grade in the class they had together was pestering her. He would borrow books and notes from her and rarely give them back. When she put a stop to it, the male student began making threatening phone calls and text messages. Police contacted the male student and advised him to stop.

At 5:42 p.m. a female ISU employee reported her ISU parking permit missing. She reported that she had parked her car in lot F-64 at 8 a.m. on October 19 and hadn't seen the permit since. She admitted that she left the window open and that it was a windy day and the permit may have been blown out of the car. There are no suspects.
