Students crowd advisers' offices for help with registration
It is that time of year again for ISU students to fill the advisement offices seeking advice on their fall 2005 schedules.
Advisers are faced with solving dilemmas and meeting demands of many students and one of those issues is overrides into classes.
According to Judy Peppers, a communication adviser, the department's first commitment is to get freshmen and transfer students in the classes they need to take, and then they can help students who need overrides.…

Center focuses on 2 upcoming studies
ISU's Center for the Study of Education Policy will be conducting two upcoming studies. The first explores how to protect financial aid and the second examines what makes an effective principal in Chicago public schools.
