We live in a world that is sign happy. We cannot do anything without someone graciously warning us about why our behavior, or the instruments we use to carry out this behavior, are potentially dangerous.

In her September 4 article on off-campus discipline, Gina Akers wrote that, "Under the Illinois State University code, a student must be found guilty in a court of law for the university to take action unless the offense occurred during a campus event."
